Pedro is a Mexican-American, fluent Spanish speaker from Mexicali, Mexico. Pedro worked at the Consulate of Mexico in Calexico, California from 2006 to 2016 and has experience in immigration matters including immigration court cases, the bond process, U-visas, and VAWA applications. Pedro graduated from the School of Social Sciences and Politics in the Universidad Autonoma de Baja California in August 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations. Pedro earned a Master’s degree (MBA) from the School of Administration at the Universidad Autonoma de Baja California in August 2014. Pedro expanded his immigration experience in the nonprofit sector in 2017 working as a case manager for immigration services for Catholic Charities, Diocese of San Diego. Pedro primarily worked on immigration family petitions, adjustment of status, and citizenship applications during his employment at Catholic Charities. In 2018, Pedro obtained his California Notary Public Certificate and taught as a Professor at the School of Social Sciences and Politics at the Universidad Autonoma de Baja California. In 2019, Pedro served as a Legal Document Assistant and Process Server in California and worked at Interlex Law Firm as a Legal Assistant with immigration matters.
